What types of machinery can be transported on a tilt tray or flat deck truck?
Tilt tray and flat deck trucks are suited to a range of light machinery, including compact excavators, skid steers, small agricultural equipment and similar loads up to a few tonnes. Larger or heavier loads may require specialised heavy haulage equipment, which is a different type of service.
How should machinery be prepared for transport?
Machinery should be cleaned of excess mud and debris, have any fluids drained or secured as required, and have moving parts locked or tied down before loading. Your transport operator will usually walk through any specific requirements when the booking is made.
Are there weight or size limits for machinery transport?
